If you’re looking for a perfect family day trip from Calgary, I’ve got a gem for you—Kirk’s Alberta Farm in Torrington! We took a little drive out to the farm in May, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience. From Alpacas to Chickens, the kids loved the experience so much, and it was a perfect way to spend our family day out!
Kirk’s Alberta Farm is only about an hour away from Calgary, so it's a super easy day trip that promises fun for everyone. Teni and Tade were beyond excited to meet the friendly Alpacas, and let me tell you, these fluffy creatures are just as cute in person as they are in photos! You can feed them, pet them, and get some funny pictures (trust me, they’ll make you smile) 🤩
It’s such a family-friendly place, and I loved how it offers both fun and relaxation for all ages. My babies loved the experience. It was also a perfect spot to let them run free, explore the farm, and interact with the animals.

Teni and Tade had an absolute blast and were not happy when we had to leave. We can’t wait to go back and do it all over again!
